What to expect from the Online Classroom Instruction?
All class offerings will be asynchronous/online beginning May 2026.
Online Classroom instruction: consists of 10 modules. Each module has 3 hours of training including comprehension checks.
After completing 30 hours of instruction students will receive a Letter of Completion.
The Blue Card will be registered with the State of MN by the BTW provider which then allows students to take the knowledge/permit.
Terms: The parent or guardian authorizes the student to take part in the program on the basis that the student meets the physical requirements specified by law for issuance of a motor vehicle operator’s license. The student must be at least 14 years 8 months of age by the beginning of class.
Point of Impact classes will be available when an Online Driver's Education class is purchased. The course will be under the parent's account. It is a 90 minute online course.
The Teen Driver Safety Parent Awareness Programs is free to any parent/guardian supervising a teen driver who wishes to participate. At the meeting's completion, parents will receive a certificate of completion. Students receive 10 hours of supervised driving on their driving logs with the certificate.
