If you're under 18 and would like to get your driver's license, you need to start with Driver's Education Classroom. You don't have to wait until you turn 16, we accept students who are at least 14 years 8 months old by the beginning of class.
All class offerings will be asynchronous/online beginning April 2026.
After completing 30 hours of instruction students will receive a Blue Card which allows them to take the knowledge/permit.
Terms
The parent or guardian authorizes the student to take part in the program on the basis that the student meets the physical requirements specified by law for issuance of a motor vehicle operator’s license. The student must be at least 14 years 8 months of age by the beginning of class.
Online Classroom instruction: consists of 10 modules. Each module has 3 hours of training including comprehension checks.
